Out The Window (OTW) is a continuous livestream project offering a fixed view of Central Duikienin. The stream operates nearly 24/7 with short breaks for archiving, and features a Monthly Address on the first day of each month.
Stream Versions and Evolution
Out The Window v1 began on 14 September 2019 and ended on 22 January 2020. It captured a westward view out of the south window of Jonathan T Freeman’s bedroom. This original version laid the groundwork for the entire project, giving viewers a simple yet intimate glimpse into the environment outside.
Out The Window v2 aired from 9 August to 17 November 2020, with brief returns during late December and February 2021. It introduced a new north-facing view, expanding the visual horizon and providing a broader perspective of the area.
Out The Window v3, launched on 17 April 2021, is the current and most advanced version of the stream. Broadcasting 24/7 from the Grand Palace of Northudankton, it offers multiple camera angles including a "left-side cam" and "groundcam" pointed at Saint Duisienbourgh Street, and a "right-side cam" toward the north. The stream pauses daily from 11:45 to 11:52 for YouTube archiving. Notably, the Monthly Address airs each month between noon and 3 PM, with specifics posted by the 3rd of the month. Over time, the stream has documented the development of a garden village in the camera's field of view.
Out The Window v4 is the proposed successor to v3, with plans to move the stream to the Community of Esis Beola once infrastructure allows. While details remain forthcoming, v4 is expected to continue the immersive experience with new technological enhancements.
OTW remains one of Northudankton’s most prominent digital projects, offering an uninterrupted look into the evolving environment of Duikienin and acting as a real-time record of the nation's capital.
